The word ‘NME’ stands for New Musical Express. They have used short form so it is easier for the audience to remember. The colours black, white and red are bold and the dominant colour red suggest that the magazine is rebellious.
The white outline shows that the title is in 3D and the use of shadows also shows this.
It used to be a prestigious magazine and is now a gossip magazine.
